        Parli Vaijnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, dedicated to Lord Shiva. it is located in parli village. Parali is an ancient village located near three rivers, Brahma, Venu and Saraswati, because of the presence of one of the twelve JyotirLingas of Shankara, it has become famous. This village is also known as Kantipur, Madhyarekha Vaijayanti or Jayanti. It is 26 kilometers from Ambejogai in the Beed district.  Parli Vaijnath is situated in Beed District, Maharashtra State, India. The significance of this temple is that here God Shankar is residing with Goddess Parvati, so for pilgrims importance of this place is more than Kashi. The famous tale of Satyawan and Sawitri is also believed to be happened here. 

        Parli Vaijnath temple is an imposing and majestic temple situated on a hill, facing towards east having doors in south and North direction. In the entrance one can see a huge pillerless hall, which is totally made out of Sagwan wood. The entrance of the temple leads to a court hall and an inner sanctum. From the court hall, devotees can view the Shiva Lingam. The temple was in ruins when Ahilyabai Holkar renovated the temple.

Gudhi Padwa, Vijaya Dashmi, and Maha Shivaratri are the few festivals celebrated with religious fervour.
