         The Vishwa Shanti Stupa is one of the Eight Shanti Stupas that was built all around India. This shanti stupa is a place of worship for the Buddhist community. It is set beside the Gitai Mandir. It was a dream of Fujii Guruji, as fondly called by Gandhiji. It is believed that Fujii Guruji had arrived in Wardha from Japan in 1935 and had met Gandhiji with the purpose of building these Stupas in India. Gandhiji agreed to his desire and then after Shanti Stupas were built at eight different places in India. One of that Vishwa Shanti Stupa is found in Wardha. This Stupa is constructed with the help of Japan in 1995. One of the Stupa the architecture is available describing the history of Lord Gautama Buddha.

         It is large and white in colour and has statues of Buddha mounted on the Stupa facing in four different directions. The Stupa is said to illustrate the life history of Gautam Buddha. Nearby in the vicinity, a small Japanese Buddhist Temple can also be found, alongside a large park.
